Only one reference to Yax Ix Pach K'uk' has survived, on Stela 11 of Machaquila. On this monument she is named as the mother of the king "Etz'nab' Chak, and the wife of Pa' K'in Chak I. The only date we have for "Etz'nab'" Chak is AD 741, when he was on the throne, so Yax Ix Pach K'uk' was alive some time before this date. Probably she was born late in the seventh century, AD. |
