1 | This inauguration of a subordinate noble was overseen not by the king Ajen Yol Mat, but rather by his younger brother (?), Janab' Pakal "the Elder". |
3 | This event concerns an attack on Palenque by "Scroll Serpent" of Calakmul. The earlier date (text 5) is a half-hotun period-ending date, but the implication of the whole passage seems to imply that the attack lasted from November, AD 610 until April, AD 611. |
2 | This eroded monument mentions both a local Santa Elena lord and (almost certainly) Ajen Yol Mat in what appears to be a superordinate position. The date of the passage is probably ca. 9.8.15.0.0, as Grube, Martin, and Zender (2002:16-17) have suggested. |
4 | The event in this passage is the burial of a king of Santa Elena. I include it here because of Ajen Ol Mat’s apparent close relation with Santa Elena, even though he is not named in the passage. |
