The syntax of this passage is strange (something not uncommon in the passages of the Tablet of the Cross), but the sense is quite clear: the passage relates the birth of Akul Mo' Nab' I in AD 465.
The name is implied, but not recorded, in this passage.
The glyphs that would have named Akul Mo' Nab' I no longer survive on this broken tablet, but the date is in the middle of the reign of Akul Mo' Nab' I, and from the structure of the K'an Tok Tablet is is clear that the current king (in this case Akul Mo' Nab' I) supervised the accession to office of the subordinate noble "Bat".
Named as grandfather of Akul Mo' Nab' II.
Theoretically, this could be a portrait of Akul Mo' Nab' II. However, given the fact that K'inich Janab' Pakal I began his account of the dynastic annals of Palenque (in the tablets of the Temple of the Inscriptions) with Akul Mo' Nab' I, Linda Schele and I have argued that this is a representation of Akul Mo' Nab' I rather than this is a representation of Akul Mo' Nab' II (Schele and Mathews 1998:119-120).
